StratGov Africa Consulting Limited is an African-led strategy and governance think tank providing integrated advisory, research, and implementation support across Eastern and Southern Africa and beyond. We work with governments, development partners, civil society organizations, and reform-oriented institutions to address complex governance and development challenges with clarity, rigor, and practical focus.

Our work is grounded in the belief that sustainable and inclusive outcomes are best achieved through local expertise, credible evidence, and a deep understanding of institutions, incentives, and context. We recognize that meaningful reform is never only technical. It is also political, institutional, and social, and it must be approached with realism as well as ambition.

Founded in 2025, StratGov Africa brings together experienced scholars, policy practitioners, and implementation specialists committed to advancing effective governance, democratic accountability, and inclusive development. We combine analytical depth with practical execution, helping partners move from ideas and plans to results that are relevant, workable, and lasting.

We operate at the intersection of strategy, political economy, public policy, and institutional strengthening. This enables us to support partners in understanding complex environments, designing context-responsive programmes, strengthening systems and accountability, and generating evidence that improves decision-making and learning.

Our approach is shaped by four core principles: African-led expertise, political economy–informed practice, evidence and learning, and partnership through co-creation. These principles guide how we engage with institutions, frame problems, and develop solutions that are both technically sound and grounded in the realities of implementation.
